04:31 pm - Diet stuff
This keeping a food diary thingymajig is most helpful. Not only can I record honestly what things I am scoffing, I can see when and why I have certain things, and what times I rarely eat, and what sort of day I am having. Tis very good.

I have also come up with another cunning plan, TM. My original plan was to put £1 into my Fat Dragon (don't chide me for the F word - he really is ROUND! Heh.) every time I lose 1lb. Then when I reach goal, buy myself something special with the contents of the moneybox. (Monsoon, here I come. Or the Brummie antique jewellers that I can never remember the name of - Scrof showed it to me on our last shopping trip.)

I have also decided on another track. Kia Faerie bought me a lovely box for my birthday with ivy on it. Paul may have also chipped in. :) I've used it for storing OSPs, which is a huge waste of a pretty box. (No jokes, ye smutty-minded.) So, on every day I do NOT buy a treat at work, I will put 50p into the ivy box. (Our vending machine takes 50ps for crisps and chocolate.) I am allowing one designated (and carefully monitored) treat a day, such as a weight watchers cake slice (2 points), or one bag of low fat crisps, or two pieces of 85% or higher cocoa content chocolate. I can have this at either lunch time or in the evening, but never both. So if I have my crisps at lunch time, as I did today (*checks book* yes, I did) I can't have anything choccy-based or treatified tonight after tea. Naughtier treats, such as a small bottle of cider, or a piece of cake which is non weight-watchers (like if it's someone's birthday) etc are relegated to weekends, in which case I may have one, so long as I cut the other treats out and balance things accordingly.

AND today is the first day I can put 50p in the ivy box. Go me. :)
